Tranmere story

Bobby Tynan is an English former midfielder who developed with Tranmere Rovers and represented England at youth level. He also spent time with Chicago Sting in the North American Soccer League before joining Blackpool for £100,000.

However, after only 3 pre-season games at Blackpool a collision with Burnley winger Terry Cochrane saw him suffer a dislocated knee and torn ligaments. He was forced to retire, but did play local football later in the West Cheshire League for Vauxhalls and West Kirby.

He later coached in Tranmere’s Centre of Excellence.
