Tranmere story
William David Davies was a Welsh goalkeeper who represented Swansea City, Everton and Wrexham before joining Tranmere Rovers in 1983. He later played for Bangor City and returned briefly to Wrexham. Davies also represented Wales at senior international level and died in 2021.
