Danny Holmes

Danny Holmes, born in Birkenhead, Merseyside, began his football career with Tranmere Rovers at the age of seven. Initially starting as a forward, he transitioned to become a defender. Holmes captained the youth and reserve teams before signing his first professional contract with Tranmere Rovers in July 2007. Throughout his career, Holmes also played for clubs like The New Saints, Fleetwood Town, Newport County, and York City. In total, he made 134 appearances for Tranmere Rovers in the EFL League Two club during two spells with the team. After his playing career, Holmes transitioned into coaching and was appointed as the First Team Manager of Vauxhall Motors Football Club.
