Tranmere story
Liverpool-born full-back David Frith began his professional career with Blackpool in the 1950s. He joined Tranmere Rovers in 1958 and remained at Prenton Park until 1963.
After leaving the Football League, Frith continued his career with Fleetwood. He died in Blackpool in May 2011, aged 82.
