Lucas Akins

Lucas Akins, born on February 25, 1989, is a Grenadian professional footballer who currently plays for Mansfield Town in EFL League Two. A versatile player, Akins has been deployed in various positions throughout his career, primarily as a winger or striker. He began his career at Huddersfield Town before moving to Tranmere Rovers in the 2010/2011 season.

Akins then joined Burton Albion from Stevenage in 2014 and became a significant figure for the club during a successful period. He has amassed nearly 100 career goals in professional football and recently signed a two-and-a-half-year contract extension with Mansfield Town, which runs until 2024.
