Tranmere story
Silksworth-born centre forward Malcolm Moore began his Football League career with Sunderland and had a loan spell with Crewe Alexandra before joining Tranmere Rovers in 1970.
Moore spent three seasons at Prenton Park, making 91 Football League appearances and scoring 21 goals. He later played for Hartlepool United and Workington, as well as non-league side Gateshead.
