Paul McLaren

Paul McLaren is a retired footballer who played as a central midfielder. He had a successful career with Tranmere Rovers, making 92 appearances for the club between 2006 and 2008. McLaren was known for his play-making abilities in midfield and was voted players' player of the season during his time at Tranmere. He had an impressive assist record, providing 13 assists during the 2007-08 season. McLaren decided to leave Tranmere Rovers in 2008 and signed a two-year deal with League Two club Bradford City. He retired from professional football on July 1, 2012, after his spell with Oxford United.
