Tranmere story
Roy Sinclair was an English midfielder born in Liverpool. After time with Liverpool as an amateur, he joined Tranmere Rovers as a professional in 1963. He moved to Watford in 1969, had a loan spell with Chester and returned to Tranmere in 1972.
Sinclair later continued his career in the United States, representing clubs including Seattle Sounders, Denver Dynamos and Detroit Express before moving into coaching. He died in January 2013.
