Description

Andy Parkinson is a former professional footballer who had a successful career with Tranmere Rovers. He first signed with the club in 1997 under manager John Aldridge and spent six years at Prenton Park. During his time with Tranmere Rovers, Parkinson was part of two cup runs and the team's visit to the 2000 League Cup Final.

After retiring as a player, Parkinson rejoined Tranmere Rovers in 2015 as the manager of the youth team. He has since been part of the coaching staff and currently serves as the assistant manager of the club's first team in League Two, with his most recent appointment being on May 11, 2021.

Parkinson is known for his pace and skills as a winger, and his contributions to Tranmere Rovers both as a player and a coach have been significant.
