Chris Merrie

Christopher Francis Merrie, born on November 2, 1998, in Liverpool, England, is a professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Tranmere Rovers. He stands at 1.81m tall and predominantly uses his left foot. Merrie began his career in the youth ranks of Everton before moving to Wigan Athletic in 2013. He made his senior debut for Wigan Athletic in August 2017 during an EFL Cup match against Blackpool.

Merrie joined Tranmere Rovers on July 1, 2021, and his current contract with the club expires on June 30, 2024. Recently, on May 16, 2023, he signed a new one-year contract extension with Tranmere Rovers.
