Ian Sharps

Ian Sharps, a tall central defender, hails from Warrington. He began his professional football career with Tranmere Rovers, where he made a significant impact by making 193 appearances, including 186 starts, and scoring 7 goals. Sharps made his debut for Tranmere Rovers against Sunderland on August 22, 1998. His consistent performances and leadership qualities made him a mainstay in the team.

In the summer of 2006, Sharps transferred to Rotherham United on a free transfer, where he continued to demonstrate his defensive prowess and leadership, even serving as the team's captain. He later played for Burton Albion FC, further showcasing his skills and experience on the field.
