Description

Jason Koumas is a retired Welsh footballer who was born on September 25, 1979. He is best known for his time as a midfielder at Tranmere Rovers, where he made a significant impact with his skillful play and scoring ability. Koumas began his professional career with Tranmere Rovers, making his debut on August 18, 1998, in a League Cup match against Carlisle United. Over the course of his career at Tranmere, he made 206 appearances, including 150 starts and 56 as a substitute, scoring 37 goals. His performances earned him recognition, and he was selected for the Football League Championship teams of the season for two consecutive years (2005-06 and 2006-07) while at West Bromwich Albion. Koumas also represented the Wales national team, showcasing his talents on the international stage.
